What If It Means the Furnace? March 8, 2009

Daniel 3:8-30 We say that we want to be full devoted followers of Jesus Christ, that we want to be used mightily by Him to fulfill His purposes in this world...But what if it means, like countless others throughout history, that we have to go through the furnace. Some times God delivers us from the furnace, but other times He delivers us in the furnace. To experience the "God who is Able" like Daniel and the Hebrew boys did...we may have to endure hardship at times. Our prayers need to change from - "God deliver me from the difficult times" to "God give me the opportunity to display my devotion to You, so that You can display Your glory & power to the world around me. Spend some time meditating on Isaiah 43:1-3
