God's Purpose In Our Shattered Dreams - March 15, 2009

Ruth is a great book in the Old Testament that contains an incredible story of God's faithfulness as well as a woman's faithfulness. One of the themes found in the book of Ruth is the one that says - Behind Every Shattered Dream God Has a Better One.
It's good for all of us to be reminded of that fact.
Ezekiel 36 says that when when come to Christ at salvation that God takes our hearts of stone and replaces it with one that sensitive and responsive to Him.
Romans 8:28 says that He causes all things to work together for the good for those who love Him and want to serve His purposes in their lives.
And the bottom line is...sometimes He uses our disappointment and shattered dreams to give Him a greater platform to work from.
